Today is the Day!

If you have not already done so, today is the day to get to the polls
and let your voice be heard. Whatever happens today, this election
will be one of those historic elections that people will read about
for years to come. Do your part and exercise your right to vote!

If you do not know where your polling place is, you can check one of
the locators below.

If you cannot find your polling place by any of these methods, check
with your country clerk or local board of elections. They can tell you
where you need to go!

Remember to take a photo ID and your voter registration card with you
to the polls just in case you need it. In some states, identification
is requested for those voting for the first time or voting after
having made changes to their registration. In others, identification
is required.

If you get to your polling place and are told you aren't eligible to
vote... ask for a provisional ballot. The provisional ballot is used
to record your vote if any questions should arise about eligibility.
Once election officials are able to check your eligibility, the
provisional ballot will be counted (if you are eligible to vote). If
you do cast a provisional ballot, you may want to check your state
guidelines to see if you will be required to do anything further once
the ballot is in. In some states, for instance, if you cast a
provisional ballot and do not provide proof of identity, you may be
required to provide that proof within a specific amount of time in
order for your ballot to be cast. Check with the Secretary of State
for more information on that!
